What are I Spy Worksheets?
I Spy worksheets are educational activity sheets designed for children that combine fun with learning. These worksheets typically feature a page full of small, detailed pictures or a scene filled with various objects, characters, or items. The main objective for the child is to “spy” or find the specific items listed on the worksheet within the collage or picture.
Sometimes there is only one of each object to find on the page, and some worksheets will also incorporate counting, so the child will have to find multiple pictures of the same item on the page and count how many they find.
I Spy books were popular when I was younger and were great for a lazy afternoon or to pass the time on a long car ride. Check out these I Spy books and games.

I Spy Bible Story Pages
In this post, I’m sharing some Bible-themed I Spy pages. There are four pages, each one themed around a story or person in the Bible – Adam & Eve, Noah’s Ark, Moses, and Joseph. Each I Spy page has an assortment of 8 objects for the child to find and count. Once they count each object, there is a space to write the number at the bottom of the page next to that object. If your child enjoys coloring, they may want to color the pictures too.
Here’s a little tip for helping with counting so that you don’t miss an object or double-count them – mark each object in some way as you count. You can mark the object by coloring it, putting an X on it, circling it, or using a do-a-dot dabber to mark the items as you count. Just be sure you use a different color so that the objects are easier to decipher.
Want to challenge your child even more? Set a timer and see how fast he or she can count the objects correctly on the page. Then have them do it again to see if they can beat their time.
Here is what your child will find and count on each page:
Adam & Eve – serpent, apple, Adam, Eve, God, tree, Earth, Bible
Noah’s Ark – Noah, Noah’s wife, lion, rainbow, ark, elephant, rain cloud
Moses – Ark of the Covenant, tablet, Pharaoh, plague of locusts, plague of frogs, Moses holding tablets, burning bush, Bible
Joseph – Joseph, wheat, cow, Pharaoh, Joseph’s brothers, Joseph’s father, Joseph with his father, Bible
