Directions to make the box of chocolate playdough:
Before you get started, be sure to gather up your supplies! This makes the process so much easier – especially if you have small children helping.
In a bowl, mix 1 cup flour, ⅓ cup salt and 2 teaspoons of cream of tartar.
Next, add 1 cup of water, 1 tbsp vegetable oil, and the dry ingredient mixture from above to a sauce pan, over low-medium heat. Mix well.
Stir until the play dough forms. Once formed, place the playdough on a piece of wax paper to cool.
Repeat the above steps, adding 2-3 tbsp cocoa powder to the dry ingredients, making this batch the milk chocolate playdough and the previous one the white chocolate playdough.
Once cooled, get a dish with sprinkles and candies. Give your child an empty box of chocolates and allow them to create their own play dough versions!
