Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
A safe alternative to eating cookie dough that tastes amazing!
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick) - softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 Tablespoons milk
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Add the flour to a microwave safe bowl and microwave on HIGH for 1 minute. Stir and microwave for an additional minute. You want to make sure you complete this step and the internal temperature of the flour reaches 160° because eating raw flour has the potential to make people sick (per the FDA). It is totally fine for consumption once it is heated/microwaved for 2 minutes. Set aside to cool.
- Add the sugars, softened butter, vanilla, and salt to a large mixing bowl. With an electric mixer, mix until blended.
- Stir in half of the flour and 1 Tablespoon of milk. Add the remaining flour and milk and stir until you have achieved a cookie dough consistency.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- ENJOY!
