Pregnancy can often be a time of spiritual battles. So many women experience fear, worry, doubt, impatience, and insecurity during what is supposed to be a mostly joyous and happy time.
When we are faced with these spiritual struggles, the first place we should turn to is God’s Word – the Truth. In His Word we can find peace and comfort, and have our faith restored.
During my pregnancies, I have found that having relevant scriptures right at my fingertips, by writing them on index cards, was handy and helped me focus on my task at hand and gain strength from the Lord. I would simply keep some of my scripture cards on my nightstand, in my purse, in the car, and by the kitchen sink. I have experienced so much more peace and comfort during my pregnancies when I focus on God’s Word and make Him a part of the experience. It’s truly amazing the difference a Christ-centered pregnancy and labor can be.
I have put together 3 sets of Printable Scripture Cards that I pray will bless you during your pregnancy and labor, and help you maintain a peaceful pregnancy by gaining your strength from the Lord.
Each set has 20 3×5 cards, with each card containing a verse from the King James Version of the Bible and can be purchased for just $2.99. There is a set for those that are expecting a baby boy, a set for a baby girl, and a set for those of you that are waiting to be surprised or would prefer a set that is gender neutral. Here is a sampling of some of the cards from each set –
Each set has the following verses –

Thanks so much! I’m due in 4 weeks, and I have been meaning to type up some verses to use as focal points during labor. I love these, and the timing couldn’t be more perfect! 🙂
Sarah,
What a wonderful set! I’m expecting my 6th child, and even though I ‘should’ be handling this well, I’m still struggling with anxiety.
Precious! What a great idea! Thanks for sharing!
What an awesome idea! I would love to feature this on the Link-up tomorrow ~”EOA’ Wednesday. This is just great…every expectant Mama should have one of these! I would like to laminate mine in case they fall into the birthing tub!! 🙂

Sarah, These scripture cards are fantastic! I would love to connect with you about having you guest post on Redeeming Childbirth’s site and maybe offering a giveaway of your scripture verse cards?
Let me know if you are interested. I am sure many of my readers would benefit.
Are you able to edit these after purchase? We use the douay-rheims version….
No Eve, the cards can’t be edited after purchasing them.
These are absolutely WONDERFUL!
Hello, I ordered these in neutral on June 10 and still have not received them, does it take some time?
Hi Monique – This is not a physical product that you will receive in the mail – you download them and print them. After you purchased, you should have received an email with a link to download them. If you can’t find the email, please email me at [email protected]
Thanks!
These are so beautifully designed, I purchased a set and print them out for every new momma I meet but I really have a hard time with the KJV and would love to have a set in a translation such as niv, esv, nasb, essentially any version that is easier to read then the KJV. Let me know if you do and I will buy it again in a minute! Thanks!
Hi Sarah – Unfortunately do to copyright laws, I’m not able to make the cards in other translations without permission from the Bible publishers. And right now, I just don’t have time to submit a request for permission.
Silly question – I don’t have a printer – is there a way to get neat things like this shipped? Or would that be kind of pricey? And thank you – This is my 5th pregnancy, extended family is very unsupportive (to say the least) and relying on God is the best thing I can do!
Hi Anna – At this time I don’t offer these as a physical product. I have looked into it, but haven’t proceeded with making it possible. The only thing I can suggest right now is to have them printed at Office Max or a similar store.
These are adorable. Do they need to be printed on actual note cards or regular card stock? I always with my printer so I didn’t want to purchase if its complicated. Simple is best for me =)
Amanda – I just print them on card stock and cut them out.
