Winter Wonderland Slime
Slime is a great activity for all year round, but we’ve put together some fun wintery slime recipes your kids are sure to love. Just check out the shades of blue and snowflakes loaded into this Winter Wonderland Slime. It reminds me so much of the Disney movie, Frozen! It’s a perfect craft to make when it’s just too cold to be outside with the real thing.
Making slime can get a little messy, so it’s best to do at a table. Keep the mess contained by putting your children in old play clothes, or even art smocks, and contain them in a small space, if possible.
The process of making this winter slime is easy and entertaining. Once they are done, your kids will have something they can play with all day!
We’ve put together 12 Christmas slime recipes too, which you can see here!

Instructions:
In a bowl, pour 5 oz clear glue.
Add 1/2 cup water. Mix until the glue has broken up and is incorporated into the water.
Add a few drops of blue colorant, mixing until you get the perfect blue.
Add in all of your mix ins (snow, snowflakes, sequins, etc)
Sprinkle in your glitter. I love glitter! Stir.
Mix 1/2 tsp baking soda in. Baking soda will help determine your slime thickness.
Add 1 tbsp of contact solution. Mix. The slime will be ready to knead when the slime pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Contact solution is what makes the slime sticky or not.
Knead the slime. It will be sticky at first. Just keep kneading it! If you have to, you can add a little bit of contact solution, but be careful not to over activate.
Store in an airtight container. You can get small containers from Michael’s or Amazon if you’d like to make this slime as a stocking stuffer or give it as a fun gift for kids.
