One of our family’s traditions during the Christmas season is counting down the days until Christ’s birthday.
We usually have several different Advent calendars going each year and last year I made one that focuses on spending time together as a family. I modified the Advent calendar a little bit for this year, making it fairly quick and simple to make, so that I could share it with my fellow, busy, homeschooling moms.
You can download the Advent Activities Calendar for FREE over at Hip Homeschool Moms. I’m super excited about being one of Hip Homeschool Moms’ newest contributors, so if you’re a homeschooler and not already a follower of the Hip Homeschool Moms community, I encourage you to head over there and subscribe and or follow them on social media. There are lots of exciting changes taking place over there, with your homeschool lifestyle in mind.

I NEEDED this! Thank you so much for sharing. We did some cardboard Advent Calendar last year and I was looking for something similar. I cannot wait to make this for my girls. God bless.
Simple, yet beautiful – thanks for the idea!
LOVE the idea of family activities on an advent calendar! I just made one for our home, but it is more traditional, with a Bible verse for each day. I may have to try yours next year. Pinning! Thanks so much for sharing!

I’m having trouble matching the pages front to back. When I print page 2, the activities from page 9 do not match up. Have you had any problems with people trying to print these out?
Thanks so much,
Susan
Hi Susan – I haven’t had anyone else mention any problems. Are you trying to print it directly from your browser or are you downloading it first and then printing it? If you are doing it from your browser, the alignment might be off. Try downloading it first, and then open the file, and then print. I hope that helps. Let me know if you have further issues and maybe I can help.
thank you so much for this one! me and my boyfriend love it. greetings from norway
This was a great calendar, which can be adapted to make activities year round.
