Easy Cinnamon Muffins Recipe
These cinnamon roll muffins are an easy make ahead breakfast or snack. Keep out a few to munch on and freeze the rest for a day you are too busy to cook.
The muffins are great for on-the-go too. You or your kids can enjoy them on the car ride to school or work each morning.
Cinnamon Muffins
Prep time: 10 minutes
Total time: 35 minutes
Makes: 12
Ingredients:
- 3 cinnamon donuts (or apple fritters)
- 1 roll of premade cinnamon rolls (Pillsbury)
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup of milk
Tools:
- Muffin liners
Instructions:
Cut up the donuts and cinnamon roll dough into inch wide pieces. These don’t have to be perfect, this recipe is very forgiving.
Place pieces into a bowl
In another bowl add in two eggs and milk and whisk
Mix egg mixture with the dough and stir to combine
Place mixture into muffin tins (you can use liners or grease the pan)
Fill right to the top and place in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes or until tops of the muffins are brown
Let cool and enjoy.
