This question is asked at least 50 times a day in our house by our 5-year-old daughter.
Out of the blue, Rachel started asking everyone (quite often) what they want to eat and she would write their order down in her little Hello Kitty notebook. She mostly asked Daddy and I because she needs help spelling out the orders.

It’s quite cute actually. And she is learning to recognize her letters, write her letters, and letter sounds. Normally when one of the kids asks the same question over, and over, and over again, it can start to get on my last nerve, but since I realize she is learning through this, I really don’t mind. I try to humor her and come up with lots of different foods to eat.
The inside – we need to work on separating the words. |
Her little sister, not so much. I think Rachel asked Lauren what she wanted to eat one too many times because yesterday Lauren responded with, “Aughh, NA-Fing (a big, annoyed sigh and Nothing)!”
