There are many great benefits to notebooking in your homeschooling, and you can practically incorporate notebooking into just about any subject and modify it for any grade level or ability.
If you’re not familiar with notebooking, it’s essentially a record of what a child has learned – typically as writings or drawings. It differs from worksheets in that it’s open-ended and allows for the child to pick and choose the information that is included – information that interests the child, which is more likely to be remembered. It offers more freedom and exploration than most traditional learning exercises found in text books and workbooks.
There are all kinds of notebooking pages and resources available online today – from blank notebooking pages, to online memberships, to notebooking pages for any subject or topic you can think of (Pinterest is a great place to search for specific notebooking pages).
Below you’ll find some free printable notebooking pages for all of the presidents of the United States, from Washington to Trump, plus a blank page that you can use for all future presidents.
