Supplies needed for Tulip Pop-Up Card Craft:
Steps for making a Tulip Pop-Up Card:
Step 1:
Print and cut out the tulips, stems, and bushes from the PDF template (link in the supply list). Use the templates to trace the tulips, stems, and bushes for the card in the colors you choose. I recommend using card stock for this step. Cut out the color shapes you traced. Make enough for 3 rows of flowers, which consist of 3 bushes, 9 stems, and 9 flowers.
Step 2:
Glue the stems so they are coming up from behind the bushes. Do this for 3 sets of bushes and stems.
Step 3:
Glue the tulips on the stems. You should do this for 3 sets of flowers, with 3 flowers in each set.
Step 4:
Print and cut out the template for the card. I recommend using card stock for this so your card will be sturdier.
Step 5:
Fold the card in half. Draw the outlines on the closed end of the card according to the card template.
Step 6:
Cut along the small vertical lines and make a horizontal fold to make a crease line.
Step 7:
Use your finger to push the socket inwards, into the card as shown below.
Step 8:
Use the card template again to draw another set of small vertical lines as shown below.
Step 9:
Cut along the vertical lines you drew in Step 8 (these cuts should be smaller than the previous cuts), and make another horizontal crease as shown below.
Step 10:
Repeat Step 8 on the other side of the card as well.
Step 11:
Fold the sockets inwards, into the card.
Step 12:
When you open your card you will discover the pop-up sockets.
Step 13:
Start gluing the flowers on the pop-up sockets.
Step 14:
Glue all the flowers on the socket to finish your card.
Mother’s Day is a special time to show appreciation and extra love to the moms in our lives. You can make this Mother’s Day truly special with this homemade Mother’s Day card by adding a special, heartfelt message of your own. I hope it’s an enjoyable crafting experience and I hope it’s a meaningful gift to whoever receives it.
