I recently tried out a wonderful art curriculum in our homeschool that was actually a success for us! In the past, art has always been pushed aside, put on the back burner, and hit or miss for us. When we did manage to tackle art, it was more like arts and crafts rather than learning about different techniques, terms, and artists. You can read more about how and why this worked for our family in my review on Paper Jungle later this month.
Since we enjoyed the See the Light art curriculum so much, I’m really excited to be a part of a HUGE giveaway they are having that starts today.
See the Light will be blessing one family by giving away one 9 volume DVD series – Art Class – 1 Year Set. They have never given away this entire set before, and may never again, so make sure you enter!
See the Light is also offering a special 10% discount on the Art Class – 1 Year Set for the entire month of September. Use coupon code: SEPTEMBER to receive the discount.

We would start with the first set…
Volume one.. my oldest is just 8, so we are just starting!

I would love to start at the beginning, so the first.
Volume 2 since we’ve seen the first one.

Volume one! We have not done much art yet.
Volume 1 for my family as I am not an artist at all.
I already have 3 of them. We love See the Light DVDs. I would not mind starting with volume 1 again. We loved it.
Volume 1 would be perfect for our family.
probably 1st set
I have never even heard of these! But my kids are pretty young so I would say level 1!
I think my daughter would really love the “color blending techniques” volume.
I would start with the first one. I have never heard of these before. Thank you for sharing and giving the chance to win!
My little guy wants to be an artist when he grows up. He also likes the video learning. Seems like a great combination.
We would start with Volume 1. My 9 year old would LOVE to have some formal art instruction.
Our family ranges from 6yo to 14yo. Even still I would begin all of them with volume 1 and then move through the DVDs normally so we don’t miss anything! 😀
The Basics. 🙂
1 since we don’t know much about art.
I would love the portrait one!
Volume 1! Would love to start from the beginning!
The first volume.
Start at the beginning!
We would need to start at the beginning, also–Volume One, lol!
The first few beginning volumes would be great for us right now!

The beginning is avery good place to start.
Would be blessed to use this art curriculum.
I think Volume 4, color blending, would appeal to my 13 year old artist.
Wow! I would love this! I struggle with including art as well.
Both of our sons love art, and are very good at it. Since this is the first time that I have seen this series, I would start with Volume 1 for them, and hope that I would learn from it as well. Thank you for the opportunity to win this awesome gift! Have a blessed day!
The basics would be good for my 3 to get started.
The first volume would be an amazing blessing! 😀 They are of the perfect age.
We would be using The Basics!
Volume 9 would be great! – Mandy Weirick
All of the volumes would be great! My children would probably need to start at volume 1.
Volume one, the beginning 🙂
I would like to start with the first set.
I would want to start at the beginning. I’m weird like that. So Volume 1. (Amy B at Bow of Bronze)
Volume 3 would work best for my kids.
I would start at the beginning.
Wow, I’m so glad to learn about this! My little girl is very artistic, but I’m…well…not. I’m definitely going to bookmark this curriculum for future reference. Thanks for sharing.
Forgot the important part – we would need to start with the first set, as my little girl is just about to start home Kindergarten in January.

We would probably need Vol I the most, because although my kids love art, they have had no real instruction. I am NOT an artist!
My son would need the first volume, I would love to learn too 🙂

I think either vol 1 or 2.

I would start at the beginning! my son would love this set!
I would start at volume one, since I am a fantastic musician…..not so good artist/arts and crafts mama…..my 5 kids are immersed in lovely ear art, not so much eye art! We would love to have art in our day!
We need all the help we can get, so I suppose starting with 1 would be wise! 😉
Would have to say Volume 1: the Basics
We’d start at the beginning, volume 1. 🙂
I think all of my kids, as well as myself, need to begin with volume 1. 🙂
