Would you like these scriptures on convenient 3×5 cards?
You can purchase a set of 20 printable cards.
During my last few pregnancies, I have put together a bunch of scriptures that I can turn to easily to help me focus on my task at hand and to gain strength from the Lord. I just simply write them on 4×6 index cards so they are right at my fingertips. I keep these cards on my nightstand during pregnancy and I pack them in my hospital bag to have during labor and delivery.
Enjoying some rest and soaking in my sweet Benjamin (one of the twins). |

I LOVE this! I have been looking for verses to keep with me during labor as I am going to try natural labor and want to have something to focus on other than the pain. What better encouragement than scripture right? Thanks for sharing these and thanks for linking this post up with Mommy Moments! It was great having you:)

I just found this on Pinterest and it was exactly what I needed. Im 22 weeks pregnant and am waiting on test results to see if my baby boy has down syndrome because they found two markers for it and also that he might possibly need heart surgery after birth. My husband and I were devasted but now we are stronger because we have faith God has a plan and that our baby will be healed before birth. These verses we very encouraging. Thanks for posting!

I’m so thankful for this post. I am 31 weeks pregnant with twin boys and boy is it getting hard here at the end. I wrote these scriptures down on index cards like you suggested so I can quickly reference them in my time of need. God is so good and I am so thankful for this double blessing He is bestowing on us! He will carry me through!

I’m 31 weeks as of yesterday, but I’m not having twins! This is my first, and I hadn’t even considered carrying Scripture into the delivery room with me. I was planning on creating an inspiration board, and now I can include some verses. Thanks for the idea! And congratulations to you and your beautiful family!

Love your list. My personal favorite verse is Isaiah 40:11: He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.
It reminds me that Jesus understands how hard it is. Although, there are times it doesn’t feel like He’s being very gentle!
