How to Play the Pumpkin Word Games
Here is a brief overview on how to play each game.
Word Search
Look over the word list and scan the grid of letters for each word. The words can be formed horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Some can even be backwards. Keep repeating this until you’ve found all the words in the list.
Word Scramble
Look at the jumbled letters and try to rearrange them to form a word that makes sense. Start by identifying any familiar letter combinations or common word patterns, then shuffle the letters until you find the correct word.
Think Fast
Read the prompts on the left side of the page and write down three answers as quickly as possible. Race against a friend to see who can finish is the fastest. Then compare your answers for fun.
Word Race
For each letter of the word PUMPKIN, see how many words you can come up with that starts with each letter. You only have a minute to do it. How many letters can you think of that start with P? How many that start with U? And so on.
Fact or Fiction
Read each tid-bit about pumpkins and decide whether you think the information is a fact, or if it’s made up (fiction).

Read each riddle and see if you can figure out what the clues are referring to.
