Sharpie Color Burst Markers
Steps for Making a Flower Bouquet Craft:
Step 1:
Print and cut out the template patterns (link in supply list). I suggest printing the template on cardstock for more durability. The template includes patterns for the flowers, leaves, stem, bouquet cone, and bow.
Step 2:
Select different colored craft papers for the flower bouquet craft. Use a pencil to trace the template patterns on the selected papers and cut them out nicely using scissors.
Step 3:
Use matching sharpies to draw outlines on the flower, leaf, and stem cutouts.
Step 4:
Attach 2 flower cutouts together to craft a flower pattern.
Step 5:
Attach the small round cutout in the center of the flowers.
Step 6:
Attach 2 leaf cutouts on both sides of each stem cutout.
Step 7:
Attach one flower on the top end of each stem.
Step 8:
Use the large round cutout to make a cone for the bouquet. Use glue to secure the cone shape. Instead of brown paper, you could also use a brown paper bag.
Step 9:
Arrange the paper flowers inside the paper cone. You can include as many flowers as you’d like.
Step 10:
Take the bow patterns and join the narrow open ends of the bow pattern to its center. Wrap the center with the small paper strip.
Step 11:
Attach the tail cutout below the center part, with the bow shape.
Step 12:
Attach the paper bow on the flower bouquet cone to complete the craft.
Ideas for Displaying and Using a Paper Flower Bouquet
Once your flower bouquet is complete, there are several ways you can use it. You can put the flowers in an actual vase and make it a centerpiece to any table. You could also attach a large magnet to the back and hang it on the fridge. You can also display it by pinning it to a bulletin board or command center in your home.
The most special way you could use the paper flower craft is to gift it to someone else. This craft bouquet would make a great gift for Mother’s Day, a birthday, a get-well message, a thank you gesture, or simply just because you are thinking of someone and want them to feel special and loved.
