These decorated Rice Krispie treats put a spin of color on your original recipe! These watercolor palette snacks are great for a birthday party, special classroom treat, or anytime!
Today I have a special treat for you that I am SO excited to share on my blog. Why? Because these colorful snacks are just so darn cute!
My kids and I love decorating our Rice Krispie bars with fun colors and designs. Our Unicorn Rice Krispie Treats are always a hit. Recently, we decided to try doing an “artsy” theme. I think these decorated Rice Krispie treats turned out perfect.
These decorated snacks would be great for a birthday party, art class celebration, school event, or anytime you want to try something fun and creative. You can use store-bought treats or make them from scratch using the cereal’s original recipe!
Hint: Store bought are great for those times you wait until the last minute to come up with a treat for your child’s classroom or other event!

Ingredients:
- Extra Long Rice Krispy Treats (or two regular sized treats placed together)

- Paintbrushes or red licorice for decoration
Directions:
Place the Wilton candy melts in colored order on one side of the treats.
Quickly pass over the melts with a butane torch, or place in the microwave for 15 seconds to give it a shiny “paint-like” look.
