It’s been almost 2 years since we moved into our ‘forever’ home. We built this house especially for our family – big, and lots of bedrooms. As soon as we moved in, I began working on getting our school room set up and running. I had so many great ideas and so many pins on my homeschool room Pinterest board, I just couldn’t wait to get started.
Well, about 4 months after we moved in, we found out we would be moving. So much for our ‘forever’ home. And that wonderful schoolroom I had worked so hard to put together? It is no longer; we turned it back into a ‘dining room’ before we listed our house. So here we sit, more than a year later with our house still on the market, most of our school supplies packed in boxes, and no more pretty school room.
Through all this I have learned that you don’t need a pretty school room in order to homeschool.
But, I still like having a designated space and I still want to get Playground Flooring so the kids can have a break from being inside all day. So here I sit, pinning and dreaming away about what our next homeschool room will look like. Here are some fun ideas that I’ve found:

I’m so sorry about your ‘homeschool room’, Sarah. It can seem disappointing when God’s plan changes our ‘dream’. Take heart! He makes no mistakes. We are praying for your buyer, and for your next home. God loves you and your fa.ily so much! He is preparing something even better ahead. Sending {hugs} & prayers.
