Even before my husband and I had any children, it was important to me for us to have dinner as a family, just the two of us, as often as possible. Growing up, my family didn’t have dinner together often. Due to work schedules, sports schedules, and extra-curricular activities, eating dinner as a family became a rare event. When it did happen though, it was wonderful, and I loved it. I wanted that for my own family, but not as an occasional family dinner here and there, I wanted eating dinner together as a family to be the ‘norm’ for us. So I made it a priority.
Planning family mealtimes can be challenging. Between conflicting schedules to conflicting food preferences it may often seem so much easier to order food on the go or to order take-out and ignore the price we ultimately pay in our wallets and in our families.
For this reason, the Inspired Bloggers Network is teaming together with Favado App and $5 Dinners to bring awareness to how meaningful family mealtimes can be, and to encourage you to bring your family back to the dinner table (or breakfast, or lunch table, as some family’s ‘main’ mealtime together isn’t always dinner).
Over the next two weeks, we will be sharing how we make the most of our time around the table with recipes and tips as well as budget-friendly meal planning resources on our blogs and in social media with the hashtag #inspiredfamilydinners. To kick everything off, we want you to get to know our sponsors with an awesome giveaway!

I like that it would tell me what actually applies to my area. Prices just vary so much!
Love the whole saving money thing! Especially when they tell you coupons for things already on sale which helps you save so much more.
I love that it will do the price searching for me! I use to coupon really well, but now that my kids are older and we are homeschooling, I just don’t have the time to price compare every week!
