Sleep
Distractions such as the phone, computer and even the hubby. 🙂
I’m not very awake in the morning when my house is quiet, therefore, I don’t get much out of it. However, later in the day, I get too busy and forget.
time is my distraction not having enough time.
I have to say not having the time. I need to get up before my kids and MAKE the time.
I have trouble keeping up with kids, housework, ministry, etc. I tend to want to be productive practically and wait on my time with God. I’m developing better habits for it though now that the kids are a bit older.
having a baby who gets up when i do, and goes to bed when i do.
Having 6 kids to take care of, 2 of which are 1 year old, no excuses though, I need to make time for devotional time and prayer
Lack of focus hinders me from spending devotional time as I let distractions get in the way. I guess bad time management also factors in.
I get up early, get my husband off to work and then have devotional time before I get my daughter up to homeschool. We do devotionals together when my husband is home.
Often just don’t know what Bible Study to do during home schooling. Haven’t found something that excites the kids
Sleep. The children and I get up at the same time, so there’s not much “alone time”.
Not waking up early enough (before the kids)
discipline
I have no time alone in the morning because the kids get up with me. At the end of the night, I am exhausted and fall asleep as soon as the kids are in bed.
