As mothers we have A LOT on our plates. All of the responsibilities that come along with motherhood can quickly become disenchanting and allow us to grow weary in our mothering role. We often question ourselves and the job we are doing – Am I doing things the right way? Am I doing enough? Too often, our answer is no. We often compare ourselves to other mothers – the other homeschooling moms, the other mom bloggers, the other moms at church. And too often, the other moms come out on top, at least in our minds. It’s very easy to begin feeling isolated, insignificant, exhausted, and frustrated as we strive to be the best mom we can be, leading us to lose focus on our purpose – to train our children in the ways of the Lord. Thankfully there is hope, and help – hope in the Lord, and help from fellow moms. You are not alone – other moms are going through what you are going through, and other moms have been on the path before you. God has given us each other, sisters in Christ, to encourage, inspire, and share our wisdom with one another.
I have a heart for moms and the Lord is leading me to start MOM 2 MOM Mondays. M2M Mondays will be an encouraging outlet for moms, by moms. Each Monday I will be featuring a guest post from, well, one of you – posting about any topic that the Lord has laid on your heart that you feel will be encouraging and inspirational to other mothers. Let’s share our wisdom and experiences with one another in areas such as:
Child Training
Homeschooling
Finding time alone with God
Pregnancy
Meal Planning
Handling the toddler, tween, teen, etc. years
Communicating with your children
How you do family devotions
How you handle chores in your home
Discipline
Frugal tips
Breastfeeding
Your prayer journal
Managing your time
Scripture that speaks to you
Your testimonies
Creating a Christian home
Talking to your children about sex
Birth
Recommended books (for moms or kids)
Encouraging words
The possibilities are endless. The topic can be as broad or as specific as you’d like. Pray about it and see what the Lord shows you. I believe we all have something to share with one another – a kind word, a frugal tip, a past experience, parenting advice – we all have some wisdom to impart on one another.
If you are interested in submitting an original guest post for M2M Mondays, please email me with the date you are interested in, as well as a back-up in case the date you choose is already taken. I will then confirm the date with you and send you the posting guidelines for M2M Mondays.
Also, you do not need to be a blogger to submit a post. Anyone can submit an article.
I hope you will prayerfully consider!
Let’s lift one another up!

Thank you, this is so encouraging to read as I have struggled with those same questions. I am thankful to know that I am not alone.
