I like to do our devotionals in the morning.
I do devotions with my children in the morning, but we do family devotions after dinner. That way I can get my way (doing it in the morning), but we still are able to do it with my husband in the evening because he is gone to work already in the morning.
We do our family devotions right before we tuck our children in bed.
Most of our family devotional times are done around the dinner table quite honestly or they will happen in the afternoons around snack time while our boys go and read their bibles and then we discuss what was read.
Mornings is my favorite time, but we often forget. Evenings is when we usually have them.
We do ours when we sit down for school.
We try to do them before bed but haven’t been very consistent.
I was just discussing with my life group at church how to show God’s Grace with our kids. This would be a great resource on practicing God’s Grace with our children!
Before or after eating breakfast is my favorite time to do family devotions.
In the morning- no better way to prepare for the day ahead 🙂
I the morning.
The children and I have prayer time before we start school, but we have our family devotions (with hubby) before bed.
In the morning while we eat breakfast together. daddy has one-on-one with boys at bedtime
In the morning. We put our “time with God” before starting homeschool or anything else. It just puts everything into perspective and gives us encouragement and a sense of peace before starting life’s hectic daily schedules.
In the morning every one is fresh and ready.
Devotions before things get hectic for the day is the best time for us
Before bedtime when everyone is around.
In the morning right after breakfast.
On a typical day, I read Proverbs to the children in the morning and a Bible story to them before bed. My husband wants to do something more like “family worship”, but he works nights and it’s been difficult to get started. We’re working together to make it happen. We want our children grounded in the Truth. =)
